We hereby present you with the latest release of SINUS Ltd research and development (R&D) department in engine valves technology.
The combined efforts of SINUS Ltd R&D team and local Israeli R&D company had given birth to SINUS Ltd SNAKE SKIN™ valve.
The Snake skin process is done using a special grooving process, SnakeSkin Grooving,  that aims to provide an oil reservoir on the stem’s metallic surface. The additional lubrication retained on the metal surface should improve performance, especially during oil starvation and boundary lubrication conditions.
The usage of a special polymer lapping device creates an oil-retaining nanolayer that has shown excellent results and significant performance benefits on specific applications when combined with the special Vibrogrooving surface treatment and correct selection of the grooving pattern

The Snake Skin™ valves most conspicuous quality is its ability to bring significantly reduced friction between the valve’s stem inside the guide.
The uniquely significant friction reduction delivers benefits such as:

• Fuel consumption reduction
• Substantial decrease of particular matter emissions.
• Overall improvement in the engines mechanical efficiency.
• Significant wear resistance.

Initial performance tests on racing applications engines shows promising resaults in terms of perfromance improvement. Testing is still in progress.

Reports from SINUS SNAKE SKIN™ valve users indicates that on many ocasions the usage of this valve has brought to the increscent of engine horse power in several different engines.

The described reports from our customers had brought SINUS Ltd R&D team to the conclusion that the reduction level of the friction between the valve’s stem inside the guide is so significant that it enables a certain percentage of engine horse power increscent.
The SNAKE SKIN™ valve was successfully tested in a DYNO institute in the United States.
